The watercolor above depicts the childhood home of my client's friend.  A nice, sentimental gift to rememeber a happy upbringing.

This large watercolor, done from a snapshot taken years ago, is the garden in Seville, Spain, where the client's husband asked her to marry him.

This acrylic is the home a young couple designed and built together and are raising their family in.

This one is more of a memory.  The house still stands, but it is a different color than when the recipient grew up there, and today it is surrounded by new homes rather than by trees and fields.  The barn has been made into an apartment, and the plantings are different.  It is a lovely home today, but we were going for what it looked like sixty or seventy years ago.  I worked from new photos and people's descriptions of yesteryear.
