My name is Elizabeth Lowry.  I grew up in Maine with a pen in my hand, always drawing.  I knew from an early age that I wanted to be an artist, and I majored in illustration in college, but I listened to the voices of reason around me and pursued careers in other fields.  After seventeen years in the restaurant business and a dozen in retail as a makeup artist, I still find I want to make my living as an artist.  So I started listening to the voices of inspiration rather than reason and came up with House Proud Cards.  I hope you are inspired by what you see here and will give me the opportunity to put your house on paper.
